According to Daily Trust, on Wednesday, while trying to cross the
Abuja-Zuba expressway, the woman, a newspaper vendor, simply identified
as Mama Favor, was crushed by a speeding car. She was carrying the baby
on her back when the incident occurred.

An eyewitness, who faulted the deceased for not making use of the pedestrian bridge, said the baby was flung into a gutter by the roadside while the mother laid lifeless on the centre of the road. The baby is now receiving treatment at the paediatric unit of Kubwa General Hospital, Abuja.
Lets hope the child's family members come forward. So sad
